TEACHER'S DAY 2024

On September 4th, 2024, the Notre Dame Academy Patna Alumni Association hosted a Retro Bollywood-themed Teachers’ Day celebration, honoring NDA’s retired teachers. With 12 alumni divas channeling Bollywood icons like Rekha and Sridevi, and 15 equally dramatic students, the evening was filled with nostalgia, fun, and gratitude. Held at the German Language Center in collaboration with Hoot Café, the celebration featured games, food, and dancing!

Notre Dame Academy Patna Alumni Association Officially Registered as a Society!

We are excited to announce the official registration of the Notre Dame Academy Patna Alumni Association as a Society! On August 20th, 2024, the Governing Body members met to sign the registration documents, marking a significant milestone for our Alumni Association.

Movie Screening of Laapataa Ladies: Empowering Girls Through Films

On August 3rd, 2024, the Notre Dame Academy Patna Alumni Association held a screening of Laapataa Ladies for the girls of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, as part of the “Swashrit” initiative. The event, filled with laughter and cheers, inspired girls with key messages on education, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and resilience. Special guest Ms. Mohini Sinha, a renowned artist, shared her journey, encouraging the girls to turn their hobbies into businesses. We thank our members and Ms. Sinha for making this impactful event possible.

Swashrit: Empowering Through Entrepreneurship

On March 6, 2024, the NDA Alumni Association proudly completed one of its most ambitious initiatives, Swashrit – A Journey Towards Self-Dependence, with an Entrepreneurship Program at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Shastrinagar. Spanning three months, the program aimed to instill essential skills and foster economic self-sufficiency in young girls through innovation and practical knowledge. Interactive modules covered ideation, business planning, marketing, and financial management, equipping students to create and sell their products.

At the NDA Alumni Meet on December 17, 2023, these young entrepreneurs set up the popular “Swashrit Stall,” selling out most of their handmade items. Though school policies prevented direct profit distribution, the Association used earnings to gift the students folders, a symbolic gesture for storing future achievements. Certificates awarded marked their journey, aiming to build a self-reliant, economically empowered generation.

Annual Alumni Meet 2024

The NDA Annual Alumni Meet concluded with a bang!!! The meet was a huge success, fostering connections, reminiscing about the past, and creating new memories. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Swashrit : a journey towards self dependence.

Educated 350+ 9th-grade girls on crucial topics: menstrual cycle, HPV virus, UTI prevention, benefits of sanitary napkins, proper disposal, health, nutrition, and introduced government projects like Menstrual Health Scheme (MHS).

The Alumni Association celebrated Teacher’s Day with retired senior teachers of Notre Dame Academy, featuring a special screening of OMG2 at PVK Cinemas.

NDA Alumni Welcomes Outgoing 12th Graders

On December 20th, the NDA Alumni Association participated in a Special Assembly for the outgoing 12th Standard. The Association’s President emphasized the importance and role of the Alumni Association, presenting personalized commemorative pens to the young graduates as a token of love and welcoming them to the Association.
